Have you noticed that has been the case in most all of our losses.Agreed to a point. On UM's last full drive and their OT possession, our defense was AWOL. Completely.

IF your defense can hold a team to 13 points with 4 minutes in regulation, your offense had better put up some points on the board.
We didn't. We couldn't. Couldn't sustain drives or get into the EZ.
DEFENSE DIDN'T LOSE THIS GAME. OFFENSE DID!
Also, if your defense can hold a team to 17 points and 50 yards below their average in regulation while the offense has 6 three-and-outs (the fumble drive was actually 2 plays), and 7 punts, the defense has done their job!
The point is the defense should have never had that responsibility IF the offense had done their job.IF THE DEFENSE GETS A STOP WITH A TD LEAD, 4 MIN TO GO, INSTEAD OF TOTAL COLLAPSE, BAMA WINS!
They had just as much to do with the loss than the offense. There were supposed the “strength†of the team. You know…who you lean on in the clutch. Instead, they folded.

Sure, it was a bad series for the defense, but before that drive we had caused UM to go 3 and out multiple times. After only allowing 2 first half TDs, we shut them out in the second half until that drive; even stopping them on the short field after JM's midfield fumble. The one TD we scored in the second half was a result of the defense/Burnip slowly flipping the field so our TD drive was very short!
With all this help from the defense in the second half, the offense struggled to stay on the field to eat up clock and score points. We got the TD and 50 yard FG off the defensive control/set up from the defense. They did their job and the offense didn't.
Yeah, I am hoping for a Barrett Jones type that can literally play anywhere on the line. So, for those of you looking at the TP how many centers are available and do any of them have PT experience at a power 5 school?

I always thought he did himself a disservice by going to Maryland. Nothing against Locksley or anything, because he's a good dude and all, and he was a good OC for us, but Maryland didn't have many offensive weapons to help Taulia outTualia in the portal, I think his NFL evaluation was not what he was looking for. I just heard on the radio that he is the all-time big 10 passing leader. Is that right?
Rumor has it he is trying to get a waiver for a fifth year of eligibility. Supposedly he will go to Miami, and has NIL/cross promotion deals with his brother that will make him one of the highest paid CFBplayers .Tualia in the portal, I think his NFL evaluation was not what he was looking for. Why does he need a waiver? He should have the COVID yearRumor has it he is trying to get a waiver for a fifth year of eligibility. Supposedly he will go to Miami, and has NIL/cross promotion deals with his brother that will make him one of the highest paid CFBplayers .
I posted the article a while back. Something about him playing in 5 games at UA one year that would need a waiver. Why does he need a waiver? He should have the COVID year
