Boy his analysis at the 7:00 mark shows very clearly the relationship between offensive formation, defensive pressure packages, and o-line blocking calls.Apparently there's language. Thanks for the heads up tusks_n_raider.
Head to youtube to watch it if you want.

Bama has trips to the left of the formation, so USF is going to have a tough time bringing pressure from the offensive left (defensive right) because they have three receivers to cover. If USF is going to bring pressure (and they did on like 90% of Bama's offensive plays), it is going to have to be from the offensive right (defensive left), yet Bama o-line calls "Larry," (everyone blocks the guy to his left, leaving the right tackle on an island and the back to pick up any blitzers.
USF brings two from the offensive right (defensive left) and the running back picks up one, giving the other guy an unhindered path to the QB, who rushes his throw which sails over the receivers head.
The o-line should have called 5.0 (everyone blocks the guy lined up on him).
Remember when AJ and Barrett Jones got into a shoving match in the Notre Dame game? This was why. When the offensive formation, play call, and blocking scheme are at cross-purposes, somebody got something wrong.
