At a press briefing, Josh Parsons, the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners and Vice Chairman on the Board of Elections in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, spoke about a probe into possible voter registration fraud.

 
Georgia reports that 2.6M have voted or 36.5% of active voters. My own county (Houston) is at 40.6%. Fulton, Cobb, and DeKalb are all above the state percentage.

Georgia doesn't have party registration, so you can't directly tell which party is getting its voters out. You can guess by the known partisan lean of a county.

I've been registered in four states in my lifetime (all at different times, of course). I don't recall any of them having me register by party. I voted in Illinois from 1973-83, using my parents' address, while I was at UA and on active duty. I always voted absentee by using a provided paper clip to punch holes in a punch card. I remember having to go over to Rose Admin to get the envelope notarized. I was registered in Alabama 1983-86, but I don't remember having to declare a party. (Has that changed?) I was registered in Texas 1986-99. You didn't declare a party at registration, but when I voted in a primary, the clerk would stamp my voter card with that party's name to show I was a party member for the next two years. Here in Georgia, they do have a rule about not voting in different parties between the primary and the runoff.

Holy crap!

I had to declare a party when I re-registered in Alabama around 1997. I think they instituted it after the Graddick-Baxter fiasco.

I disagree. With over 4600 operating PACs and their supporting think tanks slinging mud, making up lies, distorting records, misquoting, half-truthing, AI, editing out context, there will NEVER be a "good" candidate for President again as every candidate will be villified for every thing they have done, said, and did not do. Even Lincoln would barely win election in the current atmosphere. Reagan would come out looking like a hateful, divisive liar with all of media these days.

Until we start holding these all these falacies polluting our social, independant, and corportate media to account, we are stuck with this fetid system.

A mailman in Orlando, Florida, has been arrested for allegedly dumping more than 1,000 pieces of mail, including election mail, in the woods. Among the discarded items were an absentee ballot and what officials describe as 400 political items. Ottis McCoy was arrested on Frida, Oct. 25.

This is exactly why I do not trust the postal service with my vote.

Here in my county, you can visit the county voting site, and track your ballot.

I haven't done mine yet but will and let you know what I see.

I usually vote in person too, but it's never been about concern of interference - it's just the tradition in our family.

I enjoyed the convenience of the mail-in option this year, due to a busy schedule.

This is how it should be for all - options......

Wow... I wouldn't trust a drop box that was unattended for sure.

And I agree... Everything is so hateful these days. Most of us could meet in the middle and hash out a
plan and really decide things equitabily. But people here so many lies and half-truths over and over.

Nobody wants government... Until they do.

And many don't even see that they people they support are just using them.

In my county, the drop box is built into the wall of the Board of Elections building and by law, is only unlocked when the office is open. The state has a tracking system and we can see that our ballots have been accepted.
