We were knocked out in Norman. And given how we play on the road, ND or PSU would probably drag us too. This playoff is a joke, but we left it in the hands of a committee who has an agenda and got the predictable result.

That is the frustrating thing to me, yell loud enough and you can force changes in the ranking. They loose all legitimacy when they do this.

The committee messed up big time. Big time. With all this talk about supposedly "devaluing" the conference championship games, they ended up something infinitely worse, which is devalue the regular season.

Saban and McElroy are correct...there needs to be a weighting of wins and losses...not just a win is a win over a crap team. And schedules week to week....the CFP blew this one...and maybe they can learn from it because this isnt the best 12 nor does it seed the best 4 with a bye....its like an elementary school board picked it.

I have this gut feeling that even if Clemson had blown SMU out 77-3, this committee would have still let SMU in because, "we stand on PRINCIPLE!"
