Not a big surprise, they might need to do something to shore up depth with the expected Milroe departure, but Ty, Mack and Keelon are a nice group.

I do miss the olden days, when someone like that would wait until they were a junior graduate transfer or something to jump ship, it did help with depth.

I hate to see Lonergans go. I felt like he really did have a chance as the starter next year, at least as much as the others, but maybe Simpson and Mack really are that far ahead of him. Curious as to why he didn't transfer after the spring since I don't think his circumstances have really changed since.

I was trying to think back that last time we had a scholarship QB that never was a full time starter and never transferred. I know we had some in the 90's but I don't know that we had any in the 2000s and beyond. I'm going to guess it was John David Phillips, who started a couple of games at the beginning of the 98 season but Zow passed him. Pretty confident we will never have one again.

He's very talented but he doesn't fit CKD offensive scheme, coach has brought in two QBs who fit his system and even though he didn't recruit Ty he does fit his system better than Dylan, hope the young man does well somewhere

And his lumber is as straight as the Auburn athletic department.
Yes, and pressure treated lumber no longer lasts very long outdoors. You would think that would hurt his business, but people still use it and then just rebuild their decks in a few years, so it actually ends up helping him. It's nuts, as is college football right now.

Best of luck to Lonergan. Hope he finds success wherever he goes, unless it's Auburn or Georgia.

Hopefully we get an announcement from Ty soon that he's stayin. I think he will, but I'd like to hear it from him.

Find it interesting that the day after Oklahoma QB Jackson Arnold hits the portal, Van Buren QB at Mississippi State does the same. Arnold visiting Auburn tomorrow but I think logical place for him to land is at MSU and Lebby.
