Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Reliaquest Bowl, Bama vs. Michigan, Dec. 31, 11:00 AM, ESPN...

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

I haven't read all 26 pages in this thread, but I'm pretty sure I know what was said. Here are my thoughts:

1. A new OC and a new QB fix a lot of issues on offense.
2. Defense played well today given the circumstances they faced. No major concerns there.
3. If JM returns, TS will hit the portal - as he should. And that would be a serious problem for the 2025 edition of the Tide.
4. With everything DeBoer stepped into, I'll give him a mulligan for this year. But he needs to put a better product on the field next year. He still needs 3 years, minimum, to make this program his own. I think we'll be fine (assuming 1 above happens).

To your # 3. That’s assuming JM is allowed to play QB. That would be up to the staff. They would have to determine what would be in the best interest of the team.
