Frankly, the reason kids are so ridiculous these days is because they've been raised by parents who are ridiculous. Did those two guys help Colorado seem respectable the last two years? Absolutely! Is it a huge joke that Sanders' number is retired? Absolutely! Hunter won the Heisman, so I can at least see an argument for that.

My favorite theory is that Dallas trade up to get Sanders and then hire Deion after next season. Deion is not a coach, he is a CEO.
Not to be argumentative (nor defend Deion), but from all I've read and heard, the NFL head coaching job is far more similar to CEO than it is to the college on field motivator coach.

Is that right (I'm asking seriously)?

I'm not saying that Deion would be great in that job, but it sounds like if he has the smarts to hire good coordinators then it might be easier for him to pull off - elsewhere. The DALLAS COWBOYS, however, have had one head coach for thirty-six years now, and his name is Jerry Jones. Ever since the peak careers of Troy, Michael, and Emmitt (along with Deion and a few others) passed, Dallas has been less successful on the field than almost any other NFL franchise not named the Cleveland Browns.

To give an example that would shock anyone alive in 1996:
- the NY Jets have made the playoffs seven times since 1997, lost the AFC Championship game THREE TIMES, and are 7-7 in the playoffs.
- the Cowboys have made the playoffs TWELVE times since 1997, not even appeared in the NFC Championship, and are 4-12 in the playoffs.

ETA:
And btw, I can see both Jerry AND Deion dumb enough to do that.....

seems no one wanting Deon's spoiled kid.
I'm enjoying the free fall.

Strong chance Deion's son falls to the 2nd round.

Edit: Man, Sanders is dropping like a rock. Does Sanders even get drafted? I still think he will. I think either Jerry Jones will do Sanders a favor or perhaps the Raiders.

Where ever there's BBQ, Bourbon & Football
It's funny cuz there's different stories on that.
The different stories probably come from different teams' opinions of him. You could have one team who thought he came across as an arrogant toolbag, then another team who thought he just came across as very confident. Remember the AJ McCarron pre-draft interview stories? It was reported AJ rubbed a lot of teams the wrong way, and instead of being drafted in the 2nd/3rd round, he slipped to the back end of the draft. So it definitely happens.

He has almost no plus physical traits and also comes off as annoying IMO. No one was going to spend a 1st rounder on that, although I'm shocked Dart went round 1 so what do I know
I think Dart going in the first round shows how weak the crop is this year.

Dart is a baller, but he is a stretch to be an NFL starter, particularly a franchise player.
