The Frat/Block Seating section was not full at all.On TV, it looked to me as if the south endzone section, where the frats sit, never got full, not sure why. There seemed to be a large chunk of that section that remained empty. Other than that, it looked good and the crowd seemed to be into the game until the end.
Ive seen this a few times. Why does this happen? The Frat/Block Seating section was not full at all.
At the risk of this thread turning into a "Bash the Greek Section" rant (And trust me, I was 100% GDI when I was in school), my guess is that they really didn't want to sit in the cold for what they probably thought was a foregone conclusion of a game.Ive seen this a few times. Why does this happen?
The President, Coach Moore, don't like the fact that there are plenty of students who want tickets, can't get them, and plenty of empty seats, and with the upcoming expansion, will be forced to expand the student section. At the risk of this thread turning into a "Bash the Greek Section" rant (And trust me, I was 100% GDI when I was in school), my guess is that they really didn't want to sit in the cold for what they probably thought was a foregone conclusion of a game.
The crowd was great. Never heard a State crowd that loud. I think Coach Saban got the message across. It was obvious on MSU's first series.I was just wondering how the atmosphere was?

I don't do much bashing, but not finishing a game where your beloved school is going to move to 11-0. Not being able to sing Rammer Jammer to the high heavens. Not being able to see the look on Sly's face. Not being able to witness the first time in over 25 years that we win a home game while #1. And not being able to see Coach Saban give you the "thumbs up" for creating an awesome atmosphere.....Well, that's just ridiculous! :mad2: I say if they can't make it through the game, then take away their ticket! At the risk of this thread turning into a "Bash the Greek Section" rant (And trust me, I was 100% GDI when I was in school), my guess is that they really didn't want to sit in the cold for what they probably thought was a foregone conclusion of a game.
I believe by the responses to this thread it shouldn't take the Auburn game to make BDS loud and for the student groups to show up in force. You want loud....wait two weeks. You will hear loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!
