As bad as this ticket is in my estimation, Biden was one of two in the primary that I thought actually had a shot before all this mess. No doubt that Trump has got to go but in the safe confines of Alabama I may consider a 3rd party vote. I could not suggest the same to those in a swing state.

I don’t think they play in the Spring if the ACC, Big-12, and SEC end up playing in the Fall. Even if they do end up cancelling, I don’t think Spring ball happens in any satisifying way due to the NFL being unlikely to play ball with moving their calendar to maximize draft-eligible player...

I think the ACC, Big-12, and SEC play a full season. My guess is the Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl end up hosting a 4 team playoff w/ the 3 conference champions and some sort of mostly metric-based at-large bid to play in the Orange Bowl v. the ACC champion.

This is the crux of where I'm coming from at the moment. We're not going to know 100% what the true risk level is until the after action report but at a certain point there is too much accumulated risk factors for the schools to compete. The "#WeWantToPlay" crowd has gotten a lot of press...

With that said, when I say "alarming" I don't mean "sound the alarm, shut'er down" but, as you say, it is really hard to get the messaging right. "Alarming" to me means "don't dismiss this one it could be meaningful."

It is not new but COVID-19 appears to have a higher rate of this complication compared to H1N1, flu, etc. Early days with limited studies but data is alarming.
