The only thing I hope in a potentially prolonged engagement and international crisis is that this time Israel pays with us. Because the last time we listened to Netanyahu over bad intel to go to war against a regional enemy of his we paid with nearly 5,000 lives and a 3 trillion dollar debt. We see Iranians in the streets in Iran and LA celebrating the fall of the Ayatollah but it occurred to me that there are many in Iran in the military and political leadership that will not give up control without a prolonged fight. Coming back to reality this is much like Venezuela. What has really changed?

Then there are the affected parties who relied on Iranian oil China and India among them. There are many more dominoes to fall in this and no one can predict the way they will fall.

I get what you are saying, but grammar and spelling is misleading. I have trouble conveying my message on the board, and especially grammar and spelling. I omit words, sometimes entire phrases. It’s frustrating, to go back and read something you wrote and wonder what 5th grader wrote it. A good 50% of my posts are edited. Hard to believe I designed several Course Syllabi and taught Aerospace Physiology in the military , and now have trouble stringing together coherent phrases and sentences. All because of that Pesky Stroke in the frontal lobe suffered 15 years ago. . You never really know someone’s situation. It’s not all education.

I have uncles with far advanced degrees than mine who can’t have a conversation without deflecting blame away from Trump or praising him even when there is clear evidence to suggest that your guy or side isn’t perfect.

Degrees and jobs don’t mean you are not able to have illogical and irrational arguments or viewpoints. Nor does it prevent you from being in a cult. There were some people that based on jobs and degrees many would consider smart that joined the people’s temple.
