For his own sake, Kirby should look for other opportunities. Yes, he works for the greatest college football in modern sports history, but different experiences with other coaches, systems should only make him better.

We held OU to less than 100 yards rushing. Their qb didn't sit in the pocket too long. Big deficiency in the dbs - story of the season. Lots of poor tackling angles, etc.

I concur. I just think that Saban may need someone to offer different thoughts about defense through what I expect to be a transitional period. That means - how do we practice, work out, recruit, game plan, etc. Ultimately, Saban is the captain of the ship.

Defensive line stopped the run. They weren't successful at getting after the qb, but many times the dbs were so out of position, the dl had no time to do their job
