I had someone post on Facebook they voted to "restore sanity". They live in Alabama. Should I tell them not one single race was in doubt and the results didn't change the balance of power one iota? Or just let them revel in their virtue signaling?
lots of georgia republicans run on taking back the state from those people. it apparently sells

georgia did a pretty good job this election

That’s a testament to the hard work of election workers from the Georgia Secretary of State’s office down to staffers at local voting precincts who did their jobs well during a trying time.

Such basic competence by government is among the best vaccines against too-widespread beliefs of significant voting fraud and other election-related problems that have polluted America’s civic environment in recent years.

As Americans and Georgians, we may not like the outcome of elections at times. In truth, we won’t.

But we should believe that the process is fair and secure. And that final election tallies are accurate records of voter choices.

That reflects a free nation and state functioning as they should when it comes to political choices.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
totally not a gop/trumper, but ...

Far be it from me to defend Rogan, but I think he fell into a narrative a lot of folks did.

What I hate most here is what Newsweek has become: "Rogan SLAMMED!" *article based around a tweet from some rando and a thread on reddit*

Can’t restore what you never had, and the Morons of Monkeytown haven’t had any for decades. Not much state wide either.

Ron Johnson won. I hate cheese.
From the state that gave us Scott Walker? Not surprised. If this had been a Presidential election, maybe he would have lost; I know in the great state of Alabama (blue font), there was only about a 38% turnout of eligible voters. Doing nothing changes nothing.
