Charlie Kirk, conservative commentator, shot today at a speaking event on a college campus in Utah. Not sure what the world is coming to. Condition unknown for giving an opinion.

What's funny is that she repeatedly made reference as Flo to coming from "Cowtown, Texas," but I recall specifically one episode of "Alice", where she said she was "from Talladega."

I love hearing Zappa stories from musicians he worked with. Steve Vai and Adrian Belew, especially.

Belew's story of the time he, Zappa and Bowie had dinner together. I can't link he story(language), but Zappa kept saying, (Intercourse) you, Captain Tom!

I'm a huge Bowie fan, but I'd think, given Bowie's sense of humor, he looked back on the episode with a chuckle.
