  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

That's why he had to be an outstanding musician.

I love hearing Zappa stories from musicians he worked with. Steve Vai and Adrian Belew, especially.

Belew's story of the time he, Zappa and Bowie had dinner together. I can't link he story(language), but Zappa kept saying, (Intercourse) you, Captain Tom!

I'm a huge Bowie fan, but I'd think, given Bowie's sense of humor, he looked back on the episode with a chuckle.

Songwriter Bobby Hart, who wrote several hits for the Monkees (“Last Train to Clarksville”) and was part of the second generation of the group along with the late Tommy Boyce has died at 86.

Those two guys were hit machines. Didn't they also write for Neil Diamond?

Jeremiah Johnson.

I know that Redford was an iconic actor, but in all honesty, the only movies of his I ever saw were "All The President's Men" and "Indecent Proposal."

No, I haven't seen Jeremiah Johnson, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Candidate, or The Sting.
