As expected, Clowney picks USCe

On NSD, when Cyrus announced for Auburn, it was like someone punching me in the stomach. I lost my appetite IMMEDIATELY!! I was hugely disappointed. When he fax'ed his LOI to us, I was jumping for joy. I guess w/JC, I've given up because there are numerous factors weighing against us. I would be ecstatic to have him but, IMHO, Cyrus was a MUCH more important signing.

A lot of people still think we are going to land JC. I don't think so, but Im not saying it is impossible. We have the best staff in the nation. I'd love to have him, but I think we landed the best player in the country already (Cyrus), so it is just gravy

Like many of said, I think he's USC's to lose, but I do hope that he ends up wearing Crimson!

In reading the article from the Charlotte Observer, it does seem as though we should have a little bit of hope left!

I saw that article and it seemed like Clowney saying Wednesday that Alabama is still in the mix and Thursday making up his mind doesn't mean too much. It's more of a hype to his decision tomorrow. It's more exciting if it's three teams instead of two. I still think we have a chance here and I think we've got a better chance than Clemson IMO. I hope we get him. I know our recruiting class is great w/o him but w/ him it's amazing. Our defense would be so much fun to watch too.

If we got Clowney it would not only be the #1 class it would be a very strong #1 class ! 4 players that are rated 5 stars Wow! Just wishing I guess?

This is what my buddy just forwarded me from one of their starters on the offensive line.

IMHO the only real question today involving Clowney is will he have a live rooster under the table.

Roosters are easier than elephants to hide under the table. I think he goes to Carolina but hopefully he chooses the Tide! ROLL TIDE

Oh gosh, in this recruiting year that means he's definitely going to Clemson. ;)

At least he's not saying he's going to "shock the world".

Yeah, for some reason espn3.com doesn't carry Sportscenter.

Hopefully this isn't coming across as sour grapes but I think USCe's best shot at "being somebody" under Spurrier was last season. A lot of things went their way and they still managed to blow it. If Clowney wants to realistically have a shot of winning a NC he better roll with the Tide. If not then sign with "lame a*South Carolina." LOL!!!
