I am pretty sure he has to establish position in bounds before he can catch the ball. Even if his foot is in midair, he definitely hasn't established his feet in bounds.IDK, I was just pointing out the possibility.
But toes bend like that when your running and about to touch the ground.
Just saying it could be the angle of this shot.
There was another catch I think when A&M started their comeback where a receiver was waiting on the sideline just past the 1st down marker. When Manziel pulled some of his voodoo escaping the rush and tossed him the ball, he leaned out and caught it as he fell out of bounds for a 1st down. HOWEVER, it looked to me like his right foot had been over the line nearly the whole time.Even if that was the case and that is the call that is made then the ball should have been dead right there. That call and the call on HAHA were 1A & 1B on worst calls of the day. Horrible.
I hope you're right and we were seeing major improvement on the O-line and not just an inept defense. Their track record on "D" the last 2 games were pretty ugly.Real happy at the improvement in the OL. OL play like that and the offense can do some good things. I can't even be mad at the defense right now.
Thanks. Now I don't feel good about them anymore.I hope you're right and we were seeing major improvement on the O-line and not just an inept defense. Their track record on "D" the last 2 games were pretty ugly.
I gotta take them crimson colored glasses off from time to time.Thanks. Now I don't feel good about them anymore.![]()

Talking about A&M's "D" against Rice and Sam H. St. (their last 2 games). Gave up like a bazillion yards.?????????
I saw improvement. They brought starters back remember. Their defense was never great but hostile territory and the elements, I just saw a line with something to prove.I hope you're right and we were seeing major improvement on the O-line and not just an inept defense. Forget the results - just watch the game again and focus on their play. They knew where they were supposed to be, who they were supposed to "take", and in what direction they were supposed to be leveraging. I saw a near perfect technical performance by your o-line. The results might not have been the same against a better defense, but the execution and technique were as good as you will ever see in a football game. Light years better than you were in those areas against VT.I saw improvement. They brought starters back remember. They did just that.

You said a mouth full then. Definitely right. That's how the coaches knew it was correctable. The line will only get better.Forget the results - just watch the game again and focus on their play. You can tell they definately worked on it. Different play schemes ( a lot of pulling, which A&M had trouble with) and they did a great job picking up any blitz.I saw improvement.
