Ford played football, Carter was on a submarine, Reagan was a lifeguard, Bush was a fighter pilot, and McCain was a POW for over five years. But the obsessive clowns in the GOP nowadays think tough if pounding your chest like an ape and then backing off "because it's 47-dimensional chess." Even Bob Dole was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge (
when Oprah fell on him). And most of those guys served in WW2 save McCain, who served in Vietnam.
