I think the whole “Julio’s Suits” aspect of this story makes Clay come off looking bad. Why does he assume that Julio’s family can’t afford clothing for their child? What gives him the insight necessary to make come to this conclusion? My child is 3 and I’ve had a college fund going for 2 years. By the time he is able to go to college we will have nearly 120k set aside for his education (not even sure if this will be enough to cover tuition in 15 years). If he gets a football scholarship you better believe we will be able to spend that money to purchase him a new car for school, and new suits if necessary. Why does Clay ASSUME that Julio’s family didn’t do the same? What about Julio does Clay see and make the determination that his family couldn’t have possibly been able to afford clothes?
