Your original post seemed to state that the men who wrote the New Testament were the ones who made women second class citizens by what they wrote in the New Testament. If that's not what you meant then my apologies. That's how I read it. So going from that my point was if you think the New Testament made women second-class citizens I can only imagine what you think of the Old Testament where the same God the Father and the same God the Son (Jesus) existed.
Also, Jesus is as much in the Old Testament as in the NT. Jesus didn't come into existence when He took earthly form via the virgin birth and growing up into a man. Jesus sat at the right hand of God the Father and in the presence of God the Holy Spirit before creation, and as they directed the Israelites throughout the Old Testament. This is disclosed in the New Testament.
