Uhhhh...exactly how many lizards have been arrested in Meyer's tenure? And how many of those were his recruits? I think 25 is the answer to the 1st...don't know the answer to the 2nd, but I think UM will have to recruit a lot differently than he has to "get the class acts."
My bad. Had no idea that was the case. Well hopefully things will change.

you enjoy it now but wait until he starts in on Saban.
I'll still laugh, but this board will go into meltdown. ;)

It's the same thing that causes me to watch someone poke a hornets nest, someone try to take a cut of meat from a dog, or a train wreck. I just love to see people do stuff stuff and pay the penalty. :)

PS: and shouldn't your signature have a comma? "Work em, sillly gators". :) just funnin'

That might happen...and it might not. He has stated that, where Bama is now (program-wise), he wants to get the orange puke there. He has never, to my knowledge, ever mentioned Meyer's program in a favorable light.
Lame has a different mindset that may change over time, but he sees the lizards and the Dawgs as his main rivals, not Bama. Every team you play can't be your "big rival".

As soon as Kiffin brings home two SEC titles with two continuous wins against us I will respect the man. Until then he is a fool, especially how he has been slanderous against other coaches and dishonest with the media regarding issues within his own program. I may laugh but its a laugh of "how pathetic" He has potential and UT is a program that can do great things but this guy is jumpin the gun at this stage of his career there.

Somewhere, somehow... There just has to be some bad blood between these two coaches. Maybe there were some head-to-head recruiting battles between Utah and USC that Meyer won; or maybe there was a little "negative recruiting" tit-for-tat back then.
There must have been issues in the past because Urbans comments have been reactionary to Kiffins unprovoked first lobs. Ubran should not have made implicit responses but can you blame him for responding. I cant. Urban must think its ridiculous though some guy with zero wins under his belt calling out a top tier coach with a remarkable winning percentage is so stupid I cant believe Iam writing about it. Go Gators!

I think he knows exactly what he's doing. So long as he can zing FL & Meyer, the UT faithful will forgive his coaching and maturity deficiencies. Kinda like the AU faithful gloating over moral victories. They're hollow, but they make the unintelligent feel better.
Well said. He certainly has gotten under my skin and taken most of my contempt from where it belongs, toward those ##### in Athens, GA.

As a Tennessee fan, I can tell you that some of us feel sometimes that Kiffin should just let it rest a little bit. But we realize a lot of the things he's said and done over the past year are just for show, or in an effort just to draw attention to Tennessee. He's a "no publicity is bad publicity" kind of guy. As for Urban Meyer, I too suspect there is something somewhere in the past maybe nobody knows about that is fueling some of this. At the same time, Florida is the top program in the division Tennessee happens to be in, so you have to take them on and not just let them have their way with no resistance like Coach Fulmer had done over the past several years. My hope is that in a couple of years when he has the talent in place to let his team do the talking, he will calm down a bit.

IMO, still unacceptable behavior based upon a selfish approach and a complete lack of respect for SEC football and accomplishments on the field. But vols can support whatever they wish. If you can't do it, might as well boast and drag down others, I guess.
I also wish Urban would ignore him, but I can't so who am I to say ?

He already has back when he hired Lance Thompson from our coaching staff and then Lance running his mouth saying he was building a fence around Memphis. I guess Lance forgot to close the gate ;)

Saban jumped on Lance like Cujo for not waiting till after the bowl game but Lance needed to get out of town.
