Some of those players just couldn't get in the games... Leary was a hard charger with SPEED...He was wasted on the sidelines like alot of others... Fresh legs in the 2nd half would've won some of those lost games.... Saban overplays first stringers..
Holden- appeared in 10 games this season.
Earle- appeared in 8 games this season
Cohen- appeared in 11 games this season
Kight-appeared in 12 games this season
Jackson- appeared in 9 games this season before getting suspended
Drew Sanders transferred because he thought he lost his starting job, but he didn't.
Billingsley- Dude won't follow rules... so he acted out. He got kicked off at Texas too.
Hall- Dude won't follow rules and got kicked off at Texas.
Leary - appeared in 10 games this season.

Fresh Legs didn't matter in 2nd half, because we were still rotating folks in 2nd half. It wasn't the issue. The issue was the lack of execution of the plays by the players, and how the game was called by the coaches.

I'm trying so hard to understand your posts from your perspective and I'm struggling to figure it out.

Fresh Rushers? You didn't know we've been rotating players on DL, LB, OL and WRs all season long? That was Saban's plan based on what happened last year, where there was lack of development.
Rewatch the season and watch the players stay in way too long...The4th qt comebacks were do to starters staying in too long.. they were exhausted..

Your strategy in close games against top tier opponents would be to rotate in backups during the game to keep the starters fresh so they could keep the other team from making a late game comeback?

Leary does have speed. But there are other considerations, some we may not know about. "Alot" is not a word.

Or...those guys would have made mistakes that cost us the close games we won. It is comical how many people question Saban and his process. Is he perfect? No. Is he the best coach with the best dynasty in college history? Yep.

So, the rumors about Maye getting lucrative NIL offers to switch schools turns out to be all lies. The Maye family totally shot that down today. There seemed to be some tampering through 3rd parties but no outright tampering and no NIL offers.

There is so much misinformation out there in these days and times, about everything. Lane Kiffin to Auburn….

WOW! That’s one I’ve never heard before.

Bama has probably more quality depth than any team in the league except maybe UGA but that doesn’t mean that depth is equally talented, driven or prepared. Continuity is key especially on offense. I truly do not understand how one can conclude this considering we’ve had more than usual contested games over the last couple years.

I'm sure they are being told to buy in or get out. CBN will turn it around if they give him enough time.
I like BN; I don’t think he’ll get the time he needs at Gainesville, simply because, IMO, his resume needed another championship season (or two) to come to the job with enough evidence of sustainable success to get recruits to buy in immediately. They will, eventually, but I don’t know if he’ll be given enough time. I think they are still two- three years away from even challenging (not necessarily successfully) the puppies and the orange puke. I don’t think they’ll be better than 8-4 by then (maybe with luck 9-3), but will they give him a fourth year? That’s a long wait for a winner from a team that has had champions in the past.
If he surpasses what I think they’ll do, he might get four years; I’m not at all convinced he will if he doesn’t.

Based on what?

So instead of playing starters against UT in the 4th, we should have used backups ?
It’s inexplicable…..goes as far back as Brody Croyle coming out in the second half against W. Carolina, with a 31-7 lead.
if those backups you’re asking about had the chance to get quality snaps in games earlier in the season, who knows?
Over the years, there have been a lot more bad things happen when starters are left in too long….unexpected injuries…plus young guys not getting game experience that would put them in better position to contribute early.
Just putting it out there….do you really feel that Bama develops its available talent as well as other top programs?
