Unless we can run the ball, that Texas game will be a war. They are desperate for national recognition. Beating us would provide it.

Will Anderson is going to single-handedly wreck whichever side of Texas' OL he's on. That's not even counting Dallas Turner certainly putting in his contributions.

Well then, by default that means that you`re confident that our O line will have gelled and be playing at a high level. I truly hope you`re right.
Although we are in the title run every year, this one is legit. We almost won it last year unexpectedly and frankly should have if it weren't for injuries and dropped passes.

Look, maybe Texas makes a big jump but they lost to Kansas last year. Yes they have some talent but they have to prove it on the field.

I'm with Crimsonaudio. I'll believe it when i see it

Ardmore, AL; too close to 10erC
I think the game will be close, and we will hear how they are back and rematch. Then texas will go full texas and finish 5-7. meanwhile we go to the playoffs and people will wonder why the game was ever close.
Texas won't beat Bama. Ewers will be shell shocked,
If Texas goes 5-7, and they might, we'll get Sark back as an analyst if not OC.

Didn't say they would beat us. Just said it would be close. We have had close games against meh teams and still won titles.
I could see it. The main reason I think it doesn't happen is I think Texas might start getting hyped before our game because of Ewers and Co. And when teams are really hyped before playing us it doesn't usually go well for them.

I think Bama will run it……….. I’d also look for a few receiver out of the backfield plays with Gibbs
To run, you gotta have an OL opening holes. Through the spring, we’ve shown no ability to do that.

We’ll see how fall camp goes. But after last year’s performance, and the spring’s struggles, I need proof before I have confidence in our ability to run against a decent team.

If you saw the UT spring game, Sark has put on a few lbs...a sure sign that the pressure is building. He can't drink (hopefully) and eating does relieve pressure...I know that for a fact.
