He looks to be quite good...and motivated to coach. Did any of us have him on our radar? I don't think so...
It's why we post on a message board and CNS is HC at Alabama.
Thanks for the info. Did not know that. Went back to the page and they have already corrected it but in the history it gave this reason: article falsely claimed that Schumann is currently working as the DC at Alabama. This may become true but is not confirmed.
The only thing I’ve read is one line in one article that says (paraphrasing) “…it’s rumored that Alabama offered Golding $2mil to stay”
…everyone who has been repeating this as a source is conveniently leaving out the word “rumored” and presenting it as “fact”

The rumored raise doesn't pass the sniff test. Leave Alabama and a 2 million dollar raise to coach at mid-SEC-level OM???
This is after Bama has struggled on defense for the last few years. If our defense was tops in the country he's getting poached by top 5 schools...even getting consideration for HC gigs.

Heard the exact same words regarding Gol*ing. Until Armstrong proves it at a big school, we just don’t know how good he will be. I’m excited about the hire but we should pump our brakes a bit.
This guy isn't the DC, he's coming in as a position coach. I'm very optimistic about who the DC could be though....waiting game now.
Yep, and honestly it's barely an article. It's more of a blog and the writer clearly doesn't have much of an understanding of things based on the other things he has written.
