We are playing several freshmen because your team bought our best player and the rest of the SEC bought the rest of our depth. At some point some of y’all need to realize this isn’t exactly a deep and experienced defense. Golding was working with some of the most experienced and talented Alabama defenses in history.

Yes Wommack deserves to take heat for the last 6 quarters but all of this “get rid of the DC or get rid of this guy” after 5 games is far too premature. I’ve seen Kirby give up 540 yards to a Defensive back acting as a quarterback in year 8 at home after seeing him the year prior. Hell the ULM and MSU games in 2007 are two of the most horribly coached games in the last 20 years I’ve seen at Alabama, and Saban and Kirby were on staff. Guess both should have been fired

The Georgia game has took us from realistic preseason expectations to national championship expectations. Did I think Vandy was a losable game? No but I expected 2-3 losses against teams not named Georgia.

It’s year 1, a young team, and a new staff. You can’t bail 5 games in. Otherwise this whole regime could be a failure after year 1. Look at Auburn.

Congrats to Vandy and their QB played the perfect game. It happens sometimes but our defense is in a state of collapse. They can't stop the run and they can't cover. I don't think it's necessarily Womack. I think we just lose too much talent when Saban left and cobbling together portal trash and true freshmen (even talented ones) isn't going to work. Nothing to do but keep working. My one complaint to DeBoer was that we should have onside kick. There was no way that D was going to stop them. We had to get the onside and score or that was going to be a loss. How did he not see that. He needs to go home and think about that.

Good for Vandy, they deserved it based on how we played. I didn't start to get nervous until the fumble. CKD needs to put boot to booty; coaches and players!

Jalen played really great, except for two plays. Those two plays were costly, but even so, we should never have been in a position to lose to Vandy in the first place. This defense is worse than the Golding years. How in the world did we beat UGA?

A team loss. Not on Milroe, although he shares his portion. Could make excuses, awful penalties, a truly garbage personal foul and so forth. But Vandy took advantage of everything, and I think deserved it.

A pick 6, a fumble and another penalty for passing the ball when he was beyond the line. Which negated a first down. Take those three away and we most likely win even with the defense stinking it up.
