Well, I hope we take a good, hard look at our second half offense. Was it play calling? Were we resting on our laurels? Who knows. All I know is we stunk it up except for a couple of Ryan Williams plays. Georgia obviously made the adjustments they needed to shut down what we were successful with in the first half, but we kept trying to do the same things over. We needed better offensive adjustments. But in the end, a win is a win, no matter how ugly it is. We need to get better.

No one seems to want to give Georgia any credit in the 2nd half. They're a very good team and well coached. They made good halftime adjustments and played ball control.

And Wommack and the D were super aggressive in the first half with great success.

Roll Tide! What a game. Loved the way we had to make plays and did. We were reeling for a while but came through in the end.

The DBs are making plays on the ball more often than not. They had a lot...a lot of pass break ups.

Two things happened offensively in that second half and one thing defensively. Both which led to a cascade of events which we fortunately survived. Offensively our guys came out simply going through the motions. And our OC did little to help with play callings. The other thing (on Womack) is letting them convert SIX fourth downs! Some of which were on THE GEORGIA side of the field . We make stops on just TWO of those six and we win this going away.


Yeah lesson to be learned by players but by this coaching staff as well.

Edit: okay I had one too many brews. UGA was 5 for 5 on 4th down. Carry on.

Yep. Georgia was stunned by us in the first half, but they put it together and pounded our D in the second half when our O just disappeared. Very good team.

But man, so many things to work on, and solid character and big play ability for a new coaching staff and in some areas a rebuilt team to hold on in this one.

Honestly. This all just means we haven't played our best complete game. Our freshman DBs will only get better. Our offense will likely improve some as well. And when we are at our best we're jumping on Georgia 28-0.

If we can peak at the right time we can definitely win a championship. Something I wasn't sure of to start the season. Or even to start the day.
