Good for him. He knows the coach so hopefully he will do well there.
Big Ten. I find myself making that mistake too especially during basketball seasonGood for Lia. I like this move a lot. Tua was otherworldly good in Lock’s system in ‘18 and had Lia gone anywhere in Florida or the SEC, he would have always lived in Tua’s shadow. Now he gets the chance to be a build his own legacy farther removed from the weight of his family’s legacy.
Best of luck to him. Hope he lights up the ACC for years to come.

Yup, I'm surprised.Well, wonders never cease. I wish him all the best.
This was ALL about Lock's relationship with Tua. I also suppose the Maryland QB situation looked good for Lia to enter. Also, he is leaving the best facilities, nutrition, the GOAT HC, T-town, etc. What does Maryland have that would make him want to go there other than the HC?
Well Birmingham is about 780 miles to Baltimore. Birmingham is about 810 miles to Miami. So, they are sort of in the middle in Alabaster between those two areas. Yes, I know UM's main campus is not in Baltimore and Alabaster is not in Birmingham, but close. This was ALL about Lock's relationship with Tua. Also, FWIW, has the family ever announced they were leaving Alabaster? I know at one point, after Tua was drafted by Miami, the family said they would stay in Alabaster.
Rick Karle of WVTM 13 in B'ham posted on Twitter that Lia's dad tells him they are staying in B'ham.Well Birmingham is about 780 miles to Baltimore. Birmingham is about 810 miles to Miami. Hahaha, I was just laughing at myself over on the basketball board because I thought Maryland was still in the ACC when someone mentioned Galen Smith transferring there. I can't keep up with all of the transferring and league switching these days. Well, I probably could, but I don't care enough to even try. Regardless, good luck to both Galen and Taulia at Maryland.Big Ten. I find myself making that mistake too especially during basketball season
I'm guessing the main thing Maryland has to offer is playing time.Shocked. No bold or underlined or font color or font size, but shocked. Maybe I could use that Georgia font that BamaNation has. I thought the family would stay together. Well, I guess they will with Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, or some new thing I'm not thinking about. Does the family move from Alabaster, now? Do they move to Maryland? Do they move to Miami? Do they move back to Hawaii? Now, Lia is near one Harbaugh and I do hope he beats the other Harbaugh. Well, I guess the family prayed and took a leap of faith. Also, he is leaving the best facilities, nutrition, the GOAT HC, T-town, etc. What does Maryland have that would make him want to go there other than the HC?
Well, I hope he is very successful. Here's hoping he wins the Heisman Trophy, if an Alabama player does not.
