The Good, The Bad and The Ugly…. Longhorn style:

[Bama Lee]

The Good- Bryce struggled in this game at times, but came through when he needed to. Jase McClellan and Jamir Gibbs showed their athleticism. Will Reichard is indeed aweapon.

The Bad- our play calling was attrocious. For both offense and defense (I thought hard about putting this in the Ugly column) There was little to no adjustments .

The Ugly- mental focus and execution were were lacking. 15 penalties for - 100 yards is attrocious. Offense and defensive mental miscues were abundant.

Good: we won
Bad: everything
Ugly: The announcers, especially gus johnson, every time texas score he was screaming like it was the greatest thing he has ever seen. When Bama scored or made a great play he said it like he was reading a will.

B: most of the team acted like they could roll their helmets out and the shorthorns would wet themselves.

U: coach's preparation, across the board. ZERO excuse for looking so under-prepared. I say this while giving Sark props for this game plan, which was as good as expected, even after losing his starting QB.

The good: We won. 4th quarter performance. The kicker. The RBs we're goodish. The run defense was good for most of the game.

The bad:. Consistency, lack of WR contributions, blocking at times, pass rush most of the game, CBs not turning for the ball when they are clearly in a good position, missing tackles, sacks and allowing 3 yards min after first contact.

The ugly: This offense on the road against power 5 teams, BOB, penalties, the upside down horns at the end of the game when you clearly didn't play to Bama standards and the Longhorns pushed you to the brink, my blood pressure.

Bad: The WR's inability to get open when we needed them and some bad drops.
Ugly: Far too many penalties, many of which were very costly.

Sorry, but this game was UGLY, UGLY, UGLY. There is a silver lining though in that there is no better character building exercise as a team quite like what we just experienced. We are going to draw strength from this experience later on down the road and that is an invaluable intangible to have in your hip pocket.

Good: we won & a win is a win.
Bad: the zebras and their inconsistent calls.
Ugly: the play-calling, Roydell’s choice to take a step toward the massed oline left when no one was in the front of him, and the officials.
The Texas coeds deserve some mention. The camera guys found some nice looking ladies.

Good: A 21 point dog made us look below average, even with an injured backup QB, yet we gutted it out at the end. Hopefully some lessons will be learned.

Bad: Play calling on both sides, and penalties. Texas' first 13 points would not have happened if not for 3 stupid penalties by our OLBs alone!

Ugly: Yet another OD on the rat poison, and the pass D and OL woes are still not solved. Everybody predicted a blowout in this game. I'm thinking it would have been a blowout by Tex if Ewers hadn't got hurt.

The Good - We won. Bryce. Reichard.

The Bad - Inconsistent OL. WRs running before securing the ball and not getting open. No pass rush. Pass coverage. Offensive play calling.

The Ugly - Penalties. The refs. Injuries (even minor ones). Way too much orange.

Bad: Too many mental errors
Ugly: Big 12 Officials (three blind mice come to mind except there were seven)…
Horrible: Big 12 Officials made me appreciate SEC officials

Good: We won ... hopefully we can learn from this outing at a hostile environment. Bryce, the RBs, Holden, and Will A made plays in the fourth when it counted the most. Game ball goes to Bryce and Reichard. Also honorable mention: The look on Texas fans after the loss

Bad: The overall performance the penalties, miscues, and drops were downright painful ... but take it as room for improvement. The O Line will improve once key players get in the mix. WRs showed more consistency in the 4th.

Ugly: Fox Sports and the look on Texas fans after the loss (had to say it twice lol)

Good: We won. We won on a end of game field goal too.

Bad: Penalties. I've never seen a more undisciplined game from an Alabama team.

Ugly: The OC. I get that no one can tell the future. We may yet win it all and go 15-0. But based upon past results, BoB is a liability. And it is his inability to adjust, taking nearly the whole game to try something else besides what the defense has clearly diagnosed and is stopping.

The good we won in a tough environment. Games like this are good every so often. In fact I felt all along this would be a 4 quarter battle. I told anybody that would listen Bama would not cover. I honestly was thinking 28-17. It was a chance for Texas to make a statement and claim we are back type game. And they dang near pulled it off
The bad play calling on both sides of the ball and receivers dropping balls or not finishing routes etc... Need to block better for each other on those screens also.
The Ugly definitely the penalties and just being so undisciplined.
The good news both the bad and ugly are fixable.
