Quitter!!!Then screw him.
Quitter!!!Then screw him.
Or men in their 40s barking like a dog in Athens, Georgia. The interwebs are filled with hundreds of thousands of 50+ year olds who apparently don’t have fully-developed brains either. There’s even a video of a petulant 40-year-old proclaiming to the world that, “I’m a man…I’m forty years old!†…..while wearing a mullet ðŸ˜Â
100% this.Well bye.
Thanks for making the catch and all, but I wish him and texas nothing but failure.
Then screw him.
Is he the first player we’ve lost who was not either buried in the depth chart or we didn’t mind seeing him go?On3 is reporting that in a surprise to nobody, Bond has committed to Texas. I would post a link but I can't disable my ad-blocker enough to satisfy them.
The best QB will be behind center come fall, I know that. Bond referred to himself as "his company" so there ya go. He's making a business decision. I hope the business side works out for him. Thanks for the great catch, but you're going pro either way dude, and hopefully one day will understand what it means to truly be a team player. It's not like you were at a division III school. Now I hope we skull drag you and your team from one end of the field to the other if/when we play.
Roll Tide
It displays a character flaw IMO.My immediate reaction is that if DeBoer reaches out he should respond simply as a courtesy. But my logical reaction is that DeBoer is a total stranger to him, and his decision had already been made, so why waste anyone's time?
In my work I get countless sales calls from vendors. Sometimes I will take a call simply as a courtesy even if I know that I am not interested in the service - especiallyif someone that i know asks me to take the call. But most times I simply cannot spare the time or headspace.
So, he chose not to respond. If he had responded, it clearly would have changed nothing with respect his decision. But it would have endeared him to a lot of people. Sometimes people are myopic.
I totally agree with this. He spoke about the grind of the season. Adding NIL and transfer portal on top of everything else he had to do was a bridge too far. You can’t manage your roster because a guy can bolt for no reason at all. You have to constantly keep recruiting the players you already have and then figure out who to bring in from the portal yourself. What a nightmare.Apparently, Senator Manchin hinted that Coach Saban was fed up with NIL management and that played heavily in retirement.ðŸ™Â
In today's world it is more like 29.The rental car companies know this.

Our brains aren’t fully form developed until 25. The transfer portal proves that.
I agree. The QB situation will be opened up and the best performer will win out.I just don't really believe Milroe ends up the starter in this offense. But until practices start you probably wouldn't bet your career on it being anyone else.
Or in Auburn rolling trees with tp.Or men in their 40s barking like a dog in Athens, Georgia.
Couldn’t find a clean gif so will just post the quote from Replacements:That is fair; although my loyalty and pride could also be bought for a Lambo.
Neither do I..............Let's see it plsyout, the human spirit and drive can be surprising. But, I agree, I don't see him as the starter.
I agree with the respect comment, but disagree with the sales call part. Call it whatever you wish, but it was a sales call. And if he had already made up his mind, it was a sales call from a competitor. It's called respect and being a man. Which I fully get him or most boys his age aren't. It wasn't just a "sales call" from a vendor. It was his new coach trying to speak to him. With his current decision he is not his coach and this is t his team...
