Great news! Competition in Fall camp pre-season ( I hope ). Wonder if Ty has anything besides football that might influence him to stay as well. Not that that`s a bad thing at all IMHO.

In a world where nothing surprises me anymore, I will admit I would have been surprised to learn TS hit the portal.

I think he's got a great chance of being QB#1 at Bama in the near future and I think he knows it.
I wonder if the body language everyone keeps mentioning on Milroe’s side is an outward acknowledgment of the competition and he’s aggravated he may be letting Simpson gain ground.

JM's body language toward the end of the game wasn't good. His best throws were in his first couple of drives and after that is when his bad body language started to appear.

I never heard the final stats, but it was a little shocking that he didn't get more passing attempts than he did.

It might be posted somewhere on the A-Day game thread, but someone posted a link for all the stats.

Body language surely can tell a lot.

My wife and I were at my son's high school soccer game last week and both about blew an artery at how the kids were moping around the field like they'd just lost their puppy.

Luckily, with a bit of "encouragement" from the stands and our son (who is the goalkeeper) riding his teammates, they picked it up a bit and got a win.

Wonder if Ty staying might send Milroe to the portal. Probably not unless he got a really sweet deal outside the conference but you never know these days.

Could be that after a few cycles of people entering the portal and not finding a home the madness might slow down.

Completions were more difficult in the latter part of the game because the defense was vanilla in the 1st half but allowed to mix it up a bit in the 2nd half. It is concerning that Milroe may have been affected to such an extent because the defense opened more of the playbook.

There were at least 2 drops I recall that were not Jalen's fault. They were good passes he made after making adjustments to the defense.

Milroe was 3/9 for the day.

Seems kind of odd that he only threw 9 passes in a situation where his passing is the biggest question mark. The fact he only completed 3 of them is pitiful.

I didn't watch the game due to a prior commitment, but those numbers are pretty awful.
