Newsflash: Trump STILL IS a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat of the 1980s, the last time he had a thought.

- Russia is not that big a threat
- taxes on people are great (which is what tariffs are)
- appointed a Democrat to head DNI
- appointed a Democrat with anti-vax views like Marin County to head HHS
- his treasury secretary is a Democrat who worked for George Soros
- his secretary of Labor is a pro-Union "Republican" from leftist Oregon
- the deficit doesn't matter - at all
- any Republican who doesn't agree with me is bad and needs expunged from office
- save Giuliani, ALL of his donations to candidates were to Democrats pre-2014 (and Giuliani hardly qualifies as a mainstream Republican even of the 90s)

And the tribal neanderthals who parrot his every word after drinking the Kool-Aid chucked their brains and ideology at the door for a chance to "own the libs," whatever the Hell that's supposed to mean. They became so obsessed with "pwning" them they BECAME the very thing they profess to loathe.

You know what's gonna be so delicious?

All of the sanctimonious twits who have been on TV for this cretin for years being unwelcome anywhere they go afterwards and whining, "I don't even have a friend now." Yes - because you sacrificed everything for a clown!!!

I don't approve of the tactic of Maxine Waters - go run your hands through their food - but most of these folks are gonna find life tough out there once Big Crazy has no power. And Leavitt oozes sanctimony, especially for a bleached blonde married to a man old enough to be her grandfather (yeeks!), but I'm sure like with Anna Nicole and Marshall, it's a love match made in heaven, right?

It already happened in a mild sense with Huckabee Sanders in Arkansas. And she'll get a little more leeway with political folks because she's the governor, and you have to stay on the good side of the governor if you need something.

I read Petrocelli's book about the OJ civil trial, and he has a section on Robert Kardashian, OJ's friend and lawyer who had that look of shock when OJ got away with it. He had to depose Kardashian in the civil trial and at one point they were chatting politely and Kardashian basically told him, "I can't get reservations in restaurants. People avoid me." Petrocelli told him, "Every time you turn around, you're seen holding a piece of OJ's luggage. What do you mean you don't understand why?"

Fair enough. When I tell people that if Trump had been elected in 1992 instead of Clinton there would have been remarkably little difference, they tend to look at me like I just farted at a funeral. My conservative friends get miffed and my liberal friends get downright ticked. Thing is, the whole country has shifted leftward a little at a time. The Clinton of 1992 would today be welcomed in the Republican party (you know, the same party that impeached him in 1998.) The evolution of the two parties has been fascinating to watch, particularly in light of the fact that I support neither.

Talking about the Straight, I get that he wants to keep it closed to sell more American product, but threatening to pull out after bombing the hell out of Iran (and losing servicemembers in the process) is absolute BS. He had better be bluffing because if he goes through with that, it will become his legacy (one he will literally never recover from.) If the Biden administration had pulled this stunt, every muppet at Fox News would be having a nightly meltdown.
