Dan Ariely, Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions. The basis for the show "Irrational" on NBC, with similarities to Dan Ariely's life ( burn victim) and his work in Behavioral Psychology (he's a.professor @ Duke in the business school.

We think we humans are rational and logical -- he proves we are far from that most of the time.

It's about the Battle of Chosin Reservoir. I'm enjoying it so far. He makes you want to throat punch MacArthur and Almond.

The same people who did the Great War on Youtube and World War ll are now doing a weekly on the Korean War. MacArthur should have never been placed in command or certainly should have been relieved when he continued to clamor for bombing inside China. Ridgeway was able to stabalize the rout after the Chinese entered and avoid UN troops being pushed off the Peninsula which had become a practical certainty under MacArthur.
