Speaking of TEs, I talked with Kent Taylor's coach last night at the dry cleaners. He said that we were pushing hard for him at TE and so are Cinci, FAU, FSU, NC State, Northwestern (dad's alma mater '82), and Purdue. This kid was the favorite target last season due to his great hands and size.

Pretty sure it is this weekend or next.
I believe Durron Neal will be here this weekend. Wouldn't be suprised if he commits soon after.
Just reread the article, he will visit during his spring break. I like the use of "The Process" in the article:

The process has already started and will be something Neal has to deal with until he can sign a letter of intent next February. One of the next steps in that process will be to try to visit Alabama during spring break to take a look at the campus and the facilities and learn more.

Shanks seems to be taking his time with the recruiting process so I don't see him recruiting anytime soon. He's made it clear that he wants to visit most of the schools that offered him and I'm sure he'll use up all of his OVs too

I believe otherwise. He didn't attend junior day because he wanted a break. I think he would like to get it over with soon.

Laith Harlow, as soon as he gets an offer.
Strangely Harlow's Scout.com profile does still list him as having an Alabama offer even though a recent Scout.com interview from last month with Harlow quotes him saying that Bama hasn't offer him yet.

A recent Rivals.com IrishIllustrated.com article says that Bama has offered Harlow even though Rivals.com does not list him as having a Bama offer in his profile.

Harlow's 247Sports profile does not list him as having a Bama offer but a recent article quotes him as saying that CNS/Bama want him to visit before he gets an offer. I see that happenng pretty soon.

There is no doubt that Bama is very interested in Harlow and vice-versa. Bama is his strong overall favorite right now but he himself has said in at least two different interviews that he does not have an offer right now. I do think he will get an offer pretty soon when he visits UA.

I agree with you, the offers are still rolling in for Shanks. I believe he will take his time with the process and take all of his official visits prior to making a commitment.

Bama is the front runner for Shanks still. Jay Minor looks to play a factor in his decision, though.
I just can't see Minor getting an offer, other than perhaps to walk on. So, I hope Shanks isn't planning on being a package deal, or else I see him going elsewhere.

I was told that by someone very close to recruitment of Shanks. The person said Bama is still the leader, so I don't know if Minor is that much of a factor or not.

Does anyone see someone else verbally committing before A-Day game?
It's possible, but you can just about bet that there will be a few the week of A-Day and immediately after. It's been the single biggest time of the year for mass commitments since Coach Saban has been at Alabama. I think we had 4-5 around that time last year.

That is part of the reason I am asking, I remember last year we signed a few right around the A-Day game. Already having 10 verbals makes me wonder could we start running out of spots and what a great problem to have lol.

Well, Bama has 20 guys that are lettered and will be seniors in 2011 along with 14 lettered sophomores (doesn't include RS Freshmen). That totals 34 possible scholarships lost after the 2011 season. I am well aware that not all 14 sophomores will go to the NFL. I think Bama will be able to take a full class this season. I do see UA reaching the limit faster than in year's past, though.
