Question: Why does our OC not send Milroe in to run the wildcat?

They were at either Austin or Decatur high school but moved up to Athens when Phillip started playing. If I am not mistaken NC State wanted him as a quarterback while Alabama and Auburn wanted him to play tight end, mainly due to his size and his throwing technique. I watched him play throughout high school and most don't know he was a really good safety (by high school standards) and ended up with several interceptions in his career.
I believe between Bama and agbarn, one wanted him as a safety and one a TE. Obviously he wanted to be a QB

Philip Rivers' TD to INT ratio was 2.01. Not great nor near the top of NFL stats but pretty average.

My original point is he exceeded Alabama and Auburn's expectations and would have likely made a great college QB for either of them.

I was living in NC when all this happened and went to a NC State game. He was/is a good athlete with a poor throwing motion but a great head and accuracy. I said he would have to change his motion to play in the pros...shows how much I know.

I know we said the same thing about Jalen at one point, but the difference is Jalen had arm and passing potential that surpassed where JM is right now. Jalen Hurts needed to learn to do one thing: be a QB in the pocket, not a scrambler.

JM has a nice strong arm (that's been demonstrated on a few bombs) but I've seen very little evidence that he's got the arm talent to throw the other type of passes he needs to throw.

So I agree and think he'll either change positions OR transfer if he loses the job to TS or one of the true freshmen.
Jalen Hurts led the NFL in rushing yards by QB in 2021!
