I think everyone is also forgetting the fact that he did this during GAME WEEK. It's not like this was a DUI during the off-season. Passed out drunk at 3:45???? I bet he drank so much that he would have gotten a DUI for the bags drills he was going to do today in D-Line drills!!!!

Yeah I agree, the level of intoxication warrants a suspension. Meyer could run into some real trouble if he does not do the right thing and suspend him.

It was said that witness's reported the reckless driving, so I'd think it'd be difficult for this to be whiffed away. However, somehow it will.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he plays in the SECCG.

If he does play, then Meyer is a scum-bag and the UF program has no discipline. Man, can't those guys keep it together? It's bad enough that Spikes is jerk who committed assault on the football field in front of millions of people, but now this. I'm glad we have CNS and class in our program.

Crimson Cat, ND won't be interested in him if he doesn't suspend the kid. Say what you will, but ND is a Catholic university and do have a belief in discipline and respect. They don't want their athletes in the news for negative reasons.

I don't think he'll play. I think most of us are wary of Urban after the way he handled Spikes. He was raked over the coals by the lack of discipline applied to the eye-gouge. I don't think it's in Urban's hands anyway. The AD will hand down the decision.

Also, if the AD hands down the decision and ends up throwing Urban under the bus, it'll only fuel the CUM to ND rumors.

If Urban Meyers doesn't have enough dignity to suspend him for the game, which I believe he will, then Dunlap should have enough dignity to suspend himself. We shall see where their morals lie or if they only care about a ballgame.

I agree, they aren't spotless. But perception is key. ND wants to appear that they have a pristine image. UF has a record number of arrests since Meyer has been there, if I'm not mistaken. Depending on how its handled, ND may or may not take some rep hits nationally if they appear to overlook this part of Meyer's tenure. All depends on how this is handled.
The reason I brought it up at all, I was on a ND board a couple of weeks ago, and many ND fans expressed concern over this very thing about Meyer and how it would impact their image if he's hired. Some didn't like it.

Dude was out on a Monday night past 3 a.m. getting his drink on.
He was found passed out in a vehicle sitting in a lane at a traffic light with the car still in gear.

He was so _____-faced that the officer couldn't even wake him. Dunlap could have easily killed someone.

This will certainly be interesting to watch.

If those news reports of the incident are correct, I would be shocked if Dunlap plays. Seems to me Meyer's hands are tied on this one.

You all have a lot more faith in Urban Meyer than I do.
I am absolutely positive that Dunlap will play. Not saying its right, just that Meyer will not let this screw up his chances at winning an historic third MNC in four years. No way.
I have no doubts whatsoever that Dunlap will play. None.
