Wonder if this isn't a cash grab.
According to some of my ole miss buddies, he was pretty much told to leave. He had been an issue in the locker room and it came to a head at the Peach Bowl. Said he was yelling at linemen and such and at some point Dart called a timeout to ask Lane to pull Judkins out of the game because he was being too disruptive in the huddle.....who knows.

Hopefully he heads to Auburn and works on screwing them up. :p

My feeelings on the Milroe-Simpson debate were…public…to say the least. I would love nothing more than for Ty to be QB1 next year. I am dreading the thought of him going somewhere like LSU…
I feel the emotional struggles that all highly ranked players experience at any program, particularly the QB position, for a highly rated player who had many other opportunities. It would be much easier for Ty to take the easy way out versus choosing to stay and compete. Some people would prefer to wish for a Milroe or Sayin miracle but the team needs a mature option for next year.

I'd be happiest if I see...Alabama hires new OL coach.

That's the only thing that would make me happier than Simpson returning.

Ty returning, competing in spring, makes one wonder if Milroe gets beat out, does he then transfer.
I kinda think it would be best. I could be totally off base but I get the vibe that there is a strained relationship there that could cause issues in the locker room.

  • Thank You
  • Emphasis!
Reactions: UAH and Cruloc
So the guys on WJOX were saying, according to people they know inside the Ole Miss program, Judkins was currently in the $1 million NIL area. He’s looking for $1.8 - 2.0 million in NIL.

the second was a good pass, but realistically, it still came out later than it should have and should have hit Burton a good 5-6 yards earlier before that S was able to get over and closer.

the first, I don't see the same way the guy in the video does at all. I see that as a called pass, from the go and that CTR was gambling that that formation would have TAM crash for the play action in run support exactly like they did. There were only 2 guys in the pattern, both running straight down the field. JM never looks to the middle or the other side of the field, so there wasn't a progression of reads because there's nothing to read (for the pass anyway). From the snap he's looking at Burton because that was the play called, and he made the throw because Burton was even.

My point is that popularly held opinions on Tidefans (mine included) do not necessarily reflect the opinions of CNS and his staff or other analysts who do this on a professional basis. Did you know that Alabama Football employs eleven "film analysts" who prepare All 22 quality film breakdowns for CNS and his staff to review? They have access to film from every game, scrimmage, and practice the players participate in? Read this article -> Link.

With that in mind, do you honestly think we're "observing" critical things that the coaching staff is "missing"? I'm skeptical. I think it's much more likely that we're forming biased opinions from incomplete information. Also, if open QB1 competitions are important, then doesn't the player that's ultimately named QB1 deserve the benefit of the doubt? Or is it only if it's the player you happened to back leading up to the decision?

In terms of JM related comments. There's a difference between improvement and perfection. The All 22 film demonstrates at least some degree of improvement (at least according to the Analysis). Hopefully that's something he can continue to build on during the offseason.

How do you know Seth was advised to transfer? Doesn't sound like Saban to suggest that to a two year starting OL.

It's speculation, but I suspect that CNS told SM that he needs to move to Guard and that he's too small to play guard at Alabama. He advised JH to transfer. He's honest with his players.
