I think the SEC will get the format changed to something more favorable in 2026. But if they don't, the league office definitely needs to find a way to ease up on the conference schedule. We shouldn't give ABC/ESPN great games to profit off of and then get left out of the playoff.
Texas basically played as easy an SEC schedule as you can...and get the same but reverse loactions next year....and lost the only 2 tough SEC games they played

That is incredibly disappointing.

Michigan is a Helmet at 7-5

I know I've been hard on the team the last 2 weeks but they deserved well better than that fate.
Kinda reminds me of the bowl games we got in the years following Coach Bryant's death. Never forget going 9-2-1 in '85 and getting the Aloha Bowl or 10-3 in '86 and getting the Sun Bowl.

Yes. The league is going to have to figure out a way for us to not beat up on each other so much. And make Texas play a tougher schedule since they've had a free ride the first two years.

Bama getting massive payback for years of torture.
I can't say that I usually believe that type of stuff but this time I can't argue against it.

The 1st team out and the highest ranked SEC team available and they put us in the 3rd best Bowl against a mediocre Michigan team.

They deserved a better Bowl draw than this by a longshot.

By disengaged I mean he’s not supportive or actively rallying guys to what’s happening in the game.

When things go bad he just sits there staring off into space like he’s feeling sorry for himself or detaching from the reality of what’s going on.

He never displays visible leadership that you expect from a QB or Leader.

The other stuff I’m talking about will at some point come out.
He also walks over to someone that screwed up and doesn't appear to loft them up but instead simply berate them.

Probably because they had the audacity to make him look bad.

Will our fans travel?

Will Alabama draw large tv numbers?

Will a critical mass of players actually care enough to compete?

If the answer to any of those questions is no, then we got the bowl game we deserved.

Granted, one can’t know the answer to those questions, but people can project. I guess the Citrus and Gator bowls ran their numbers and made their picks. 🤷‍♂️

This is senseless. We get criticized if we play an easy schedule and don’t get rewarded when we do play a tough schedule. The only answer for us is to go undefeated or only lose one.

Yep. Think about this: We were 9-3 and dang near made the playoff anyway, with 2 losses to .500 teams. So the argument is "Alabama has some quality wins, but look who they lost to." So now switch those 2 losses out for losses to, say, Georgia and South Carolina. We wouldn't even sniff the playoffs, and the argument would be, "Alabama didn't have any real bad losses, but they didn't have enough quality wins."

You Milroe haters can say what you want, but I guarantee you he will be picked in the first or second round of the NFL Draft.
Johnny musso is one of my favorite Bama players, Musso22…..but couldn’t disagree with you more. Jalen Hurts was a late second rd pick…Milroe has less than zero chance at starting an NFL game.

Well, I hope it does, otherwise the things said about him will come off as unduly harsh criticism or worse. Last thing the team, or school needs is more fracturing. Be it the Jalen or the anti Jalen faction. I fall in neither camp.
