Trump Attacks Iran, II

One thing I really don’t understand. If 20% of the worlds oil supply comes through the Strait of Hormuz, then why is oil predicted to reach 300% of pre war price. 80% is flowing without issue. The price increase just seems disproportionate to me.
Because the first rule of war it to profit from the war...

In other News: Slight of Hand
Adam Kinzinger said yesterday that the US lifted sanctions against Belarus for release of 250 jailed political prisoners held there. Why the focus on Belarus a close Russian Ally with Putin? Will Belarus become a conduit for US technology to enter Russia?

I mentioned this in another thread that, if the reason Israel needed us in this war was our ability to deliver with heavy bombers, we have 12 B-52s in the boneyard. Why not refurbish 2-3 and let Israel buy them. Problem solved. If they hit some bad guy country, it's no different than any other proxy war. We aren't engaged.

I'm gonna quote Tim James right here. It just makes sense to me...................does it to you? :D

You know, for all his faults (and he has a metric ton of them) Trump really is a funny guy sometimes.

I’d say he’s really a braying jackass.

2,500 Americans were killed in the Pearl Harbor attack.

4 years later at least 250,000 Japanese people were killed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Mostly Civilians.

Who committed the larger atrocity?

If anyone should be commended in reference to those events it should be Floyd Schmoe.

He was a US citizen from Seattle who went to both Nagasaki and Hiroshima to help rebuild houses.

From 1949 to 1953 he and other US volunteers helped build around 40 houses.

Mr. Schmoe was nominated for the Nobel three times and in 1982 won the Hiroshima Peace Prize and was made a Honorary Citizen of Japan for his efforts in mending fences between the two countries.

Trump only looks to insult others and incite violence and discord and division.

He knows nothing about Peace or extending Olive branches.

I’m sure he knows even less about Japan and it’s people or events from WWII.

Screw Trump.

If you are still confused, this should clear it up:

The President is now simultaneously claiming that he has won the war, is currently winning the war, needs help to win the war, and needs no help to win the war which, by the way, is not a war.

All to destroy the nuclear program he already destroyed last year.

Man, just stop already. Everyone knows that the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.

I’ll own up to being hypocritical at times because as much as I hope for peace I also wish you were right and that POTUS shield or not someone would cause a major update to Trump’s Dental Records.
We're all hypocrites, dude. That's why I threatened my kids over the dangers of underage drinking despite the fact that I spent a significant portion of my youth drunk as a hootowl.
