So OU has now been to the CFP three times under Riley, facing three different SEC HCs, and is 0-3. Margin of loss has gotten worse each year.

I keep hearing OU fans use the word 'savant' to describe Riley, but I'm just not seeing it.

The way it ended for him still has me perplexed: Finishes a season, signs recruiting class, has off season program, spring training, and then resigns in the summer? I think there might be more to that......

Seeing how the committee dropped us like a rock after that game, I am not convinced we would have made it in with a win over Auburn. It probably would have taken a 42-17 type win, and that simply was not going to happen. If Tua had not have gotten hurt... maybe. But after the loss to LSU and especially after his injury, I sensed a huge sigh of relief coming from the rest of the country and I think the committee is swayed by that soft of thing.

I didn't believe that until I saw the ranking. Yeah, the committee was hoping for anything that would allow them to make a point at Alabama's expense.
