If refusing to promote your job security at the cost of your personal integrity, or placing the principle of truth and honesty above his own staff's well-being is "acting like a child" then I strive to be "childish" everyday. I wish a few more of our politicians and public figures would act so childish.
Thank You

So the kid had a concussion (mild or otherwise). He was cleared to practice by the team doctors but comes to practice in street clothes. The doctors said he may be sensitive to bright light. Coach Leach didn't want him just standing around and being a distraction, so he put him in "time out", where the bright light would not bother him. Maybe CML should have got him a glass of sweet tea and a feather pillow. I just don't get the big deal.

It's not like he made the kid get in "the ring" and take hit after hit from his teammates. CML should have left before last season. Yes, he is a different kind of coach, but he has had nothing like this in the past. To fire him now, just days away from getting a bonus that was well deserved, stinks to high heaven.

Do I need to post the youtube videos?
I am unaware of any youtube videos relating to this incident. If you are referring to the "fat little girlfriends" speech, then that really has no bearing on this situation. Funny-yes. Wierd-yes. Relevant to his firing-no. If I am not mistaken, there are some wonderful quotes where Bear Bryant used to talk about the players ugly little girlfriends.

according to Finebaum and his sources, you can't put much stock into C. James. I agree with an earlier post, I think it was out of line for ESPN to put James on the air... never really liked him to begin with!

Hmm...kinda makes you wonder...

if maybe one of the little brat James' kids' girlfriends were one of the "little fat ones" that may have got her feelings hurt and wanted her "man" (term used loosely here) to get at the "big bad pirate"...

I HATE this whole situation, and now I especially hate TT and the James'. I will support ML on this til the end of time. He was "used" by a convenient situation, where I still believe he did NOTHING wrong...

Never mind, Leach is a lawyer (i think). ML and his buddies will bring down TT, I will guarantee you that..

When ESPN is a big part of the story we all lose.

Tell every one of Craig James ESPN announcer buddies I hate them all for the bias they display in favor of James and their own jobs.

Agreed, Forget about all the emails and comments from players and coaches, ESPN is playing the same statement over and over again from a center that may also have a axe to grind.

Adam James went to Leach after the Baylor game to ask for a transfer to SMU. Coach Leach has a rule that players can't transfer to D1 schools in the state or teams that are on the schedule(Tech plays SMU next year). So there are lots of boosters that don't like Leach either. So this made up story gave them a reason to fire the coach.
