I know it won’t happen but I hope we drop all the LANK, Podcasts, and Radio interviews next year and just get back to Alabama Football.

That said, I appreciate the players that did stay after CNS retired.
Problem is, I firmly believe that some of the players that stayed are why some of those that left aren’t here anymore.

Well, this season is done. No playoffs unless some time of miracle like the earth reversing it's rotation happens.
We're now preparing for next year. Ty Simpson should start next week against the Barn. He's the QB of the future. Jalen's had his shot and didn't get it done. It's time to move on from LANK and look to the future.
The only way Ty starts is if Milroe doesn’t play in the bowl game. At least he can have one start before he transfers.

Auburn wins. Amazing what happens if you actually give a damn.
auburn just won... what a sucky night
If nothing else, maybe it will keep our guys from sleep walking to another loss. At least 2 and arguably all 3 of our losses so far have been in games where it was all but a forgone conclusion that we would win and be on to the next big game according to the pundits.

Don't think I can recall another Bama team that seemed to eat the rat poison more than this one...

I get the argument that one season isn’t enough the majority of the time but to continue to let a QB struggle in a game he was clearly out of and not make a change then try to justify not making a change reveals the fact he isn’t ready for the big league.

I mean how many games did you have to watch Dubose coach before you knew he was over his head.

If DeBoer and this staff want to feel a little “warmth” on their seats, just stink up BDS next week like you did tonight and lose at home to Auburn.

I’m soured specifically by not having the stones to make a QB change when there have been multiple opportunities this year.

It’s nauseating that our roster is based on things other than merit.
Remember earlier in the season when we were told that Deboer adapted his offense around Milroe’s skill set? Most of his offense was never installed because Milroe couldn’t run it, so they made the decision to sink or swim on the one thing Milroe can do: run the ball. That was completely shut down tonight, leaving no options but to keep doing it or try to pass to get back in it, which he can’t do. Even if they put in a better passer, he would have no experience running anything other than the limited offense they’ve been running all year.

Tua outplayed hurts from day 1. All summer all I heard from practice was that Tua would be the starter by November because he was way better than Jalen. Never happened until it absolutely had to. The best qb isn't always on the field at Bama and I've never understood it. Even going back to the zow/watts days.
None of this has anything to do with Milroe though. Think about our 2015 era teams. Ty is our starter over Nilroe all day long. Heck, Saban likely doesn’t even recruit him in 2015.
