Really? Mutilating your body and having life-altering hormone injections is comparable to heavy metal music? Come on man.

I don't believe there is much evidence at all for this narrative of attention-getting or peer pressure or even the oppressor/oppressed.

Is it possible there are some vulnerable folks who might go along to get along? Sure, I guess it's possible and even probable.

But AFAIK there is no evidence that what is going on is a fad brought on by anything you've mentioned here in any appreciable numbers.

There may be some truth to that, but you can’t deny the huge spike in this ideaology, especially in Hollywood. Just look at the leaked videos about what Disney has been doing. It’s not made up.
