This is not one of those ridiculous classes saban has signed in years past but it's very good. What is ridiculous is that he does it year after year, that's the tough part. Saban has me me by 6 years, i'm in pretty decent shape, but if i had his schedule for a week, i'd be a dead man. Only coach i've ever seen that says he loves recruiting. Unusual dude.

I looked over Georgia's class. They finished ahead of us, but I don't see much I would swap with them for. They went Bama big on the OL and they have a 2 or 3 big DT that we really didn't sign. I think we signed better skill players.

Well, if you enjoy what you do then it is not like work at all. He loves it and is passionate about it which makes me wonder why everyone and their brother want to retire him year after year. Dude looks to be having more fun than I can ever remember.

Not sure how I feel about this...but it is not my call CNS knows best.
I feel pretty great about it! We’ve brought in plenty of transfers and Saban tends to get the best out of them. My suspicion is if Stewart wasn’t willing to buy into the Alabama way he literally could have went wherever he wanted.

Now, let’s go get Domani Jackson! Read some believe it’s between us and Michigan. He may be the most important transfer for us for next season.

I don’t know why we didn’t go after AJ Harris, pretty sure it was between us and Georgia for his HS recruitment. Auburn is throwing money Out there. I don’t know about depth, but they will field a pretty good first team with all the players they are buying.

The recent AtM approach has proven that a “collection of over-paid hired-guns” doesn’t produce a “well-unified and cohesive team”

100%. Some coach, someday, may figure out how to win it all with a bought team, but it is not the best recipe for championships. A&M’s attempt was a complete flop.
Well, Jimbo just didn’t know how to ESCORT his team to victory.

There's a signed but uncommitted DB in this class that may provide an explanation at his all American game.

Anyone heard anything further regarding the Stewart to Bama post above? It's been over 24 hours without confirmation or additional posts/chatter. So, is it false, premature, or is there some smoke in the air?
