I don’t know who that is referring to specifically but it’s all semantics.

Everyone who is a US citizen is one because of a little piece of paper that says so.

Go back far enough and almost every person that is a US Citizen is one because their ancestors were immigrants.

His comment is wildly bigoted.

The reference was about Melania Trump. And I agree with you about the comment being bigoted.

Wasn't there some ridiculous number of Reps hoping for that spot? Like ten of them or something? Harris could still win it, of course, but I wouldn't bet a nickel on it.

I've read that Paxton has offered to drop out of the race entirely if the SAVE Act gets passed. Assuming this is true, one must also assume that this is what Cornyn is reacting to. Perhaps Cornyn is hoping Paxton buys the notion that he is trying "really hard" and would thus drop out as a good faith token. Is Paxton really this dumb? I guess we'll see.

Paxton is shamelessly crooked even by Texas standards. Imagine a cross between Jabba the Hut and Robert Tilton, and you've got Ken Paxton. He's the one that filed that insane lawsuit demanding the Supreme Court invalidate four states Trump won that totaled 62 electoral votes and would have flipped the election his way. He had no less than seven conservative Republicans witness against him under oath and a number want him removed from the AG's office for his indictments.

You know - exactly the kind of guy Trump likes.

Cornyn - until today - had at least a tiny bit of core remaining. Today his actions literally say, "Shred the constitution, nothing is more important than me saving my hide." And now he's shown he can be bullied by a bully and do you REALLY think Paxton NOW has any incentive to drop out?

Now is when Paxton goes with, "You see, if he actually cared, he'd have done this long ago" and presents his crooked self as the only honest man in town.

I really, really want Paxton to win the runoff. He's a great example of today's GOP.

NEVER FORGET: Jasmine Crockett practically ENDORSED John Cornyn live on TV

Crockett even said Cornyn is PRETENDING to be MAGA so that he can win his primary.

"I'm about to tell all of MSNBC a secret: I actually don't hate Senator Cornyn at all. And right now, what we have is a senator who actually is a 'real' Republican, who's doing everything that he can to make it SEEM like he's a MAGA Republican so that he can get through his primary.

But Senator Cornyn, this is not him!"

This is ALL an act to try and have President Trump endorse him. Nothing more.

Cornyn's a FRAUD.
