Ok this is my take. Aubrun I guess should win the game but I can say the win is on the Defense and the refs. That us football and the nature of the game. Mac is the man even with the mistakes. Roll Tide!!!!!!!!!!!

That is my point - the head coaches did not decide this game. Both teams went into the game with a game plan. Neither team executed their game plan well enough to win the game. Offensively and defensively, both teams failed. Auburn won because of a 14 point swing on a single pass play that was as unlikely as the tip pass for a TD against GA a few years ago.

Fluke stuff decided this game. Poor execution decided this game. Poor discipline decided this game. Not some offensive or defensive game plan.
Yeah when you have a true freshmen who’s a known hothead get hit and he doesn’t retaliate but walks away and then you have a SENIOR come in and get a PF that offsets an AU penalty you’ve got serious problems. I pray we find true leaders next season and they take the bull by the horns!!!!

I may be wrong but I think Saban needs to recruit some strong safety body types for linebacker. We need help on the DL. Next year's team is going to be very young.
Not sure it is the body type. Remember, Golding coaches that group. Dylan struggled last year and he has the perfect body type for the position.

Saban is now 8-5 against Auburn, Coach Bryant was 19-6. Despite being more successful nationally than CPB, Saban hasn't been able to keep a lid on the Cow College.

1) Bryant won most of those games without scholarship restrictions

2) Remind me how many times Bryant had to go face Auburn in Jordan Hare

3) Remind me how many times Saban had the good fortune to coach against Doug Barfield

To hell with the other 13.
So in Bowl games you don't pull for SEC teams? I mean I understand not pulling for certain rivals. Nobody would expect a Bama fan to pull for Allbarn or a Georgia fan to root for Florida, but if Ole Miss, Kentucky, A&M etc. is playing in a Bowl or playing a non-SEC foe, I'm going to cheer them on.

Then let me clarify...

Damn is accepted on the forum and not considered profanity.

The fact that you're choosing to try to slip past the (in this case, non existent) profanity filter using symbols instead of letters tells us more about you than you may know. If you think you're not supposed to post it and attempt to dance around the profanity filter, you're either drunk or belligerent.

Neither is a good look.
Chill out, man. I was choosing not to use profanity while expressing my frustrations. I didn't even know there is a profanity filter.

I will get torched for saying this but this is why I do not believe Coach Saban is a better coach than Coach Bryant. Coach Bryant realized the importance of the rivalry. Coach Saban is great but IMO not the greatest at Bama.

Coach Bryant:
a) played here (so naturally his feelings on such things would be different)
b) never had to go into JHS, the house of horrors that it is
c) could snatch up players to keep Auburn from getting them because of the difference in scholarship rules

The level of defense CNS used to put on the field isn't coming back. The game has changed too much. Shut down defenses are a thing of the past. Bama will shut down some teams, but great offensive teams will score a bunch of points on anyone. This defense wasn't good, but 2011 is never coming back due to how the game has changed on the offensive side of the ball, and the rules that favor the offense.
I agree completely - been saying that for a while. Just don't know if CNS knows quite where to turn.

I used to pull for the other schools but once I moved to Tennessee for about 17 years and when we really started rolling, everybody was a fan of every team we played and would email, text or call me when we lost. I then started pulling against all teams. I do let my guard down though for Bazza and B1GTide.

Nope. Most do not cheer for us. In fact they absolutely get off on us losing. Plus I live in Georgia, and 99.99% of the fan base are awful fans.
